Playing music with D.She is wearing her passy miur valve (the purple thing). We just call it her passy. This little contraption allows Ivey to talk. It also can come flying off like a bullet whenever she coughs. So, we pin it to her so not to loose it. It maybe a pretty purple piece of plastic, but it is worth its weight in gold - literally.
Just a little taste of applesauce. Finally, we found a spoon that Ivey actually likes. These flat spoons are from the ice cream at Honey Moon Bakery.

How neat that the "passy" enables Ivey to have her own voice! I read your previous post too . . . Ivey has a lovely smile. Don't you just love when appointments are pushed further away? Rachel is finally seeing her cardiologist once a year (at this point anyway) and it's a nice break. :0)

Sasha has that instrument set and just loves it too!
Does Ivey receive music therapy or were they just playing for fun? We do music therapy 2x a month and all the boys get to join in...and what fun it is!
Hi friend, I love seeing pics of sweet Ivey. What a blessing to see her making music and rolling around...what a miracle! :) She really is...I am so thankful that you share her precious life with us!
