Thank you all so much for taking time to share this milestone with our family. It is so great that you all are a part of our lives just as Ivey is a part of yours. And yes, I will give our reason for going with green. As soon as I get all of the pictures downloaded I will post more. There are only 300 or so to choose from!

I have never commented although a day does not go by that I don't check your blog and have kept up with every single event in your young life. Ivey...you have got the best parents around! Children everywhere are not as fortunate as you are. Your eyes are 'knock-out' beautiful and will sweep some young man off his feet one day!!! Green is equal to GORGEOUS!!!!! Also know that God put green with every color in his universe and that makes it even more beautiful.

I just read your story for the first time, I know what you are going through, I raised two handicapped boys.
I know all the stares and cruel comments, but thats their Handicap , Not your childs! I often wonder, are the children we have been Blessed with , the handicapped one's? Or is it the others that just can't grasp the gental beauty our children carry always. I was and still am amazed at all my children have taught me.
