Okay-Ivey appears to have healthy kidneys. One does have distension (swelling); however, it does not show any signs of blockage. Good news. Hopefully the distension is a result of the bladder infection. In two weeks Ivey will return to the doctor for a follow-up, then we will schedule another test. Then upon test results, she may or may not need to see an urologist. Yippee!!

Strange to read this. My Little WIseman (7 weeks) has his VCGU tests on Thursday to check his kidneys.
Yay for healthy kidneys! Addie's left one is huge, and after both a VCUG and a nuclear medicine test, the urologist says it's healthy, just big. We go back around Christmas for the one year scan, so I'm still holding my breath--but he says just because his nose is too big for his face doesn't mean it doesn't work, so her having a large kidney isn't necessarily a bad thing, either. I thought that was a great analogy (--and he does have a big nose!) I'm adding this one to my prayer list for Ivey :)
Wonderful news!!!
Yay! Added to my little Ivey prayer list.
To be so little and have a bladder infection...bless her ♥ .
